Creativity sucks because it can’t be measured:
You can't pour it from a jug or hang it from a weight.
Art is not a paintbrush or a pen,
It is the end of the rainbow and the beauty of a foreign language.
If imagination wakes you at 4am no one will know,
Unless you tell them.
Do brush strokes have meaning if they placed without care?
The competition isn't there, it’s with yourself.
A constant loss and constant win.
Creativity sucks.

I wrote this because I've been having trouble with writing lately. I thought I had lost the writing spark and I wasn't creative enough. I always aspire to push myself but I had to be reminded by a very talented poet that creativity isn't something you can win at, or be the best at.
