Back in May of 2020, George Floyd was killed by three officers. On January 6, 2021, Trump supporters rioted and broke into the Capitol building. While the peaceful Black Lives Matter protesters were being shot with rubber bullets and being tear-gassed and maced, the Trump supporters who violently rioted the Capitol faced no repercussions despite the fact that they were the ones breaking the law. In the storming of the United States Capitol (which was incited by Donald Trump), 5 people, including capital police officer Brian Sicknick, died while dozens more were injured. As of June 8, 2020, at least 19 people have died during the Black Lives Matter protests; unlike the capital rioters, the protesters were not breaking any laws.

Donald Trump has become the first president in U.S history to be impeached twice after being charged with "incitement of insurrection" over last week's deadly storming (BBC). The House of Representatives accused Trump of encouraging violence with his false claims of election fraud. People think Trump was the one that incited the riot. His words exactly: "We won this election, and we won it by a landslide.” Three minutes into his speech, he repeats the false claim about the election results, and people say this is the inciting incident of it all.

Trump urged his supporters to "peacefully and patriotically" make their voices heard, but also to "fight like hell" against an election that he told them had been stolen (which evidently was false). While his supporters were rioting, he reportedly told them to go home and that he “loves all of [them]” and that they are “very special.” On the other hand, he called peaceful protesters “THUGS” while protesting for equal human rights.

Due to his encouragement of violence and multiple false claims, he has been banned from Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Amazon Web Services, Snapchat, Reddit, Twitch, LiquidWeb, Shopify, and Spotify.

Systemic racism had existed before Trump came into office, that's true, but it has since amplified to a terrifyingly high level. It's time we kick him out!
