Stop the Spread, Wear a Mask

As we all know, COVID-19 is still very prominent to this day. With holidays coming just around the corner, many people travel to spend the holidays with their families, significant other, friends, etc. Holidays and traveling will be unlike any other year. An article titled “Coronavirus: CDC urges Americans not to travel for Thanksgiving” by BBC says that “In the last week, we've seen over a million new cases," said the CDC's Erin Sauber-Schatz to reporters on Thursday. "Thanksgiving is a week away." There are 63,107 cases of COVID-19 within the last 7 days, and that’s just in California! With places opening up again, people not wearing their masks right or even at all, going to gatherings with a big amount of people, cases have skyrocketed in the US. Especially since Halloween just passed and a lot of people went out. Other countries have resumed to normal or somewhat normal while the U.S is still facing a crisis.
If we were to go under a stricter lockdown for a longer period of time, it’s possible that things could go back to the way they used to be sooner. Please be considerate of everyone’s safety and do your part. Wear a mask and cover both your nose and mouth, social distance, avoid social gatherings, etc. Of course, it is difficult to practice these around the holiday seasons, but please host a zoom call or some other virtual hangout instead of a big family/friend gathering.
Stop the spread! Wear a mask!
